This is the poster of a documentary of the Summer of Love (1967) featuring the Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin and Quicksilver Messenger Service.
These concerts performed on 4 consecutive nights February 27 through March 2, 1969 captured the band at their improvisatory peak, and were featured in the “Live Dead” recording that was released.
An album of a fantastic concert which features great close-ups of the band, and includes what is considered one of the most inspired version of “Bird Song” ever performed.
